There's no excuse I could come up with for my absence, nor could I take back
the frustration you've all most likely felt due to lack of updates. I broke my
promise and didn't update when I said I would.
Don't get excited. Yes, I am back, but that does not mean that I will be updating
my stories very soon. I will need to contemplate them and decide which angle I will
use to return to writing once more.
I will be using this livejournal now as it was meant to be used -- more than just a
tool to tell everyone when I've updated.
I also think I will be following ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) dollrandir and making this journal
friends only. My parents almost stumbled onto my livejournal website when I was
visiting their house, and God forbid they ever read what I've been writing.

Adultfanfiction.net gave me a bout for my money before I finally was able to update. In my absence I apparently forgot that along with writing come the frustrations of the website not working when you try to post. Grr.

The chapter of Out of the Safety of the Woods has not been completed yet, although I continue to work on it. Perhaps it will be finished in a few hours, or maybe I'll not finish it until tomorrow. It's almost done, though! :) Here's a few spoiler paragraphs of what is to come, if you wish to read.
Let me just assure you that there will be no romance between Legolas and any other character. The introduction of a female character does not mean Legolas will be falling in love with her, or vice versa. I don't like reading or writing het, anyhow. No offense to het lovers, of course! ;)

I have returned. I will be updating my stories soon. I've been traveling a lot over the past six months. I apologize for the wait, and hope that most of you have not already gouged your eyes out over the months it has taken me to come back. Fear not, I'm settled in and ready to return to regularly updating my stories. Out of the Safety of the Woods will be the more likely to be updated first and second. I've somehow lost the work I did on Stormy Waters and it will take me a while to get back on track with the plot I have outlined to my satisfaction.
I've been absent for such a long time I'm dying to get back to work on my stories!

The computer has gone on the fritz! It's not letting me open the chapter I have written for Stormy Waters! And I've been trying for the past two hours! ::sigh:: This is extremely annoying, to say the least. And on top of that, I can't get to AFF.net and FF.net keeps on telling me that it's not responding! If I could have opened the chapter on the computer I would have posted it say, here or at the Orlando Angst community. I was planning to do that today but now the word processor I use is not letting me open anything from it.
I am close to losing all self restraint and revert to smashing my forehead into something. Preferably something hard.
This is unbelievably irritating.
I cannot really say anything about the chapter except that it won't have as much of Will in it as previous chapters as I was focusing on Jack and Elizabeth in it.
Right now I am strewn between snarling in rage and whimpering in frustration.
Oh, right, and Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hopefully I'll be able to give you a Thanksgiving gift in the form of a chapter update. I'll be checking back periodically all day between the festivities to see if the computer works. Right now this is foremost in my mind.

I plan to vigorously work on trying to type up the next chapter of Stormy Waters tomorrow. I'm not sure how much I'll get finished, but I'll definitely work on it! It's beginning to frustrate me. When I began writing that story I had a certain plot in mind that has yet to be introduced. The main idea of the story has not even been addressed yet!
I cannot promise anything to any of you on updates except that I'll be working on getting the next chapter up. If I cannot and am absolutely stuck, I'll put up another chapter of An Uncomfortable Secret to try and get my creative juices flowing.

Nothing to say about today except that WOW Adultfanfiction.net is being a pain. I've been trying to update my story on there since yesterday!
I've managed to get the sixth chapter of my story Out of the Safety of the Wood up, with the exception of the relentlessly annoying AFF.net, and I am trying to work on the next chapter of Stormy Waters. I've only about three pages typed up of that one, since I'm still stuck in a bit of a rut from when the computer broke down. After I've finished this chapter I think everything will be hunky-dory and I'll be able to zoom through that fic once again. It really is my favorite one to write at the moment and I've got so many plans for it that I want to get posted before another author somehow channels my mind and comes up with something similar.
